Summary:
Perform inspections, checks, and tests, of materials, components and finished production pieces.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, AND/OR SKILLS:
Able to communicate well with others on a professional level.
Able to maintain adequate records of Inspection data.
Ability to used testing instruments to record testing data such as DFT.
Able to work 6pm to 6am M-T (48 hours) DUTIES:
Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications.
Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required.
Record inspection, millage, environment condition and graded inspections.
Mark items with details such as grade or acceptance-rejection status Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems Recommend necessary corrective actions, based on inspection results.

Safety Rules, Policies, and Procedures Maintain orderly and clean work area Attend all required safety meetings Inspect equipment each day to ensure it meets safety standards Must inspect tools daily before each use, to include extension cords Use hand and power tools safely at all times with correct guards in place Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with policy and adequate for specific tasks Wear specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to:
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
In order to do the job, the following physical requirements are necessary:
Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to occasionally pull, push, carry, or lift tools, equipment or materials 50 lbs.
