Senior Software Engineer- Full-stack, Payments

GoFundMe is looking for a passionate, collaborative full-stack engineer to join our small but growing payments team in Los Angeles, CA.

The job

  • Developing scalable payments infrastructure which will support both the CrowdRise and GoFundMe products
  • Building out robust API's and third party payment processing integrations
  • Adherence to, and compliance with, PCI rules and regulations
  • Working closely with Kotlin, Java, PHP, and Javascript

You

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience with a strongly typed, object-oriented, coding language and open to work on full stack
  • Experience working with payment processing, PCI compliance, and payment processing integration
  • Strong communication skills with no hesitation to share your ideas
  • Can work both independently and love to collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of building application from group-up
  • You are reliable and take pride in your work

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
